So we consulted him for tips about choosing an engagement ring that shows your love and commitment to your bride-to-be. Even though couples often shop together for the ring, when it comes to romance, Husar stresses that it’s all about surprise. To maintain that surprise and still fi nd her perfect ring, ask her girlfriends and family members about what she likes. Is she into heirloom-inspired rings? Then a Tacori might capture her heart. Another consideration is the band: Does she prefer gold, white gold or platinum? Or would a band of diamonds thrill her? For couples shopping together, Husar recommends picking the ring style together, but not the diamond. That way, you can still surprise her later with a fabulous stone.
